In 2026, PromenART is turning its lens to photography, transforming The Waterfront, Shell Cove into a large-scale outdoor gallery for six weeks which is set to officially launch to the public on Friday 18 September, 2026.
We’re looking for striking, original photography that deserves to be seen. From landscapes and wildlife to portraits, people and unforgettable encounters. Photographers are invited to submit their work for the opportunity to have it selected and exhibited in the heart of The Waterfront with $3,800 in prize money to be awarded across five categories:
Major Prize: $1,500
Runner Up: $1,000
People’s Choice: $500
Youth Award*: $500
Community Awards: $300
